Default Xunlai tournament - Are multiple accounts legal?

I have heard of people with multiple accounts making multiple predictions in the Xunlai tournament. I have looked for the rules to see if there is anything that prevents a person from registering more than once, provided they have multiple e-mail addresses and GW accounts, but I haven't found anything yet.

Is there any official word on this?

Thanks

How can it not be legal?
You do, after all, BUY the second account.

Yes more than legal, there's people playing with 15+ accounts making a colossal fortune every month. And if there wasn't so many accounts pouring so many keys in the market, prices probably wouldn't be droping like they are now.

I was tempted to buy another couple of a/c's for the tourney, but tbh whats the point of having 2 other a/c's that get nothing but creme bules, so I passed

Lots of people do though so I wouldn't worry about it.

it's legal to predict in the Xunlai tournament on more then one account but if you "transfer" the reward from the other accounts its not legal.

Please elaborate on the rule(s) saying this, because it sounds like complete bogus to me.

If you got banned for that, and you weren't RMT then contact NSoft support. If you can show you own the accounts involved then there's a fair chance the ban would be lifted.

Advice I've seen for avoiding that ban... trade in your guild hall...complete two way trades, things like that. Actions that show that the trading characters know each other for reasons other than for the trade, and aren't acting like a gold selling site

cuz thats what bots do, one sided trades. When trading large sums of money or ecto + keys just put in 10g or an item to be sure.

Or, you know, trade small amounts. I constantly trade between 20 and 30 zkeys from various accounts and I have yet to get a ban.

Even if you get rewards on more than one account, how do you plan on transferring it without some guild member riding your dic--inb4 gored engine go red en-- yeah?

Easy...

Computer one has main account, Computer two has Mule account, commence trade. Computer three (laptop) has wiki up to see what to trade and what to keep.

Doesn't everyone have three computers?

HAHA!

Those are just the computers that work. I have two or three more around that I could probably set up for other purposes, if I had the room and motivation.

Such is the life of a computer/electrical engineer.

2 stacks of z-keys at once, is a little extreme. Its easy to see why Support thought you were doing something bad. Do smaller trades and you won't have a problem.

@Boneyard Nothing against multiple accounts. As long as its one XTH(and email) per game account, you're fine.

Perhaps. I DLed it, but haven't installed it yet.

I have Texmod for doing cartography, but with my new gaming box, it has a tendency to mess up the screen. I sometimes leave an outpost, and the screen turns into the world map until I zone back to outpost.

That has made me a little worried about third party apps.

I will try it eventually.
